AFI - 1.2 Intermediate dermal filler
The basics get a provider started, but harder areas and longer-term cases reward more technique. This intermediate course takes filler skill past the foundation.
The Intermediate Dermal Filler course is an online training module that teaches facial-plane identification, cannula-versus-needle selection, and treatment of more demanding areas such as the chin, jaw, and marionette lines, with a certificate of completion on finishing. It picks up where the foundation course ends.
Face Med Store built this course for providers who already place filler in common areas and want to handle more. The lessons start by teaching which planes of the face to inject, building directly on the foundation material.
From there, technique gets more specific. A provider learns when a blunt-tip cannula suits an area better than a hypodermic needle, which improves patient comfort, and how to treat the chin, sub-zygomatic region, jaw, and marionette lines with control.
